The District has fully transitioned to a new elementary reading program aligned to academic standards in Language Arts. Both Wonders and Maravillas are designed to move students through core classroom engagement, enriched language development, and rich, authentic content instruction. Wonders will focus on engaging instructional plans, themes, skills, access to rich texts, and rigorous English Language Arts instruction. Maravillas is an entirely equitable Spanish Language Arts Program designed to support students as they become bilingual, bi-literate, and bicultural. Maravillas mirrors the core Wonders program.
